Investment management firm gets muddy for charity

Brewin Dolphin’s Birmingham office is celebrating its 250 year anniversary by supporting the Woodlands Adventure and Outdoor Learning charity. The centre was established in 1924 to give opportunities for poor children to escape the city environment and experience the benefits of the countryside. It is now an outdoor centre with facilities for a wide range of activities and welcomes visitors from all walks of life but particularly the disadvantaged and those with special needs. At a visit to the charity, one group from the company focused on gardening led by divisional director Debbie Lilburne (pictured front row third from right) who is also a Trustee for the charity. The second group was tasked with painting the shower and toilet cubicles. The afternoon was spent using the charity’s outdoor facilities, starting with the high ropes course, before getting muddy on the assault course and zip wire, and then finishing with archery.
